Functional Description - Release 2024.06
OfferPrice returns a detailed Priced Availability quote for specific Flights, and includes the breakdown of fare and taxes together with more detailed product information, such as conditions for payment/cancellation/change and baggage allowance. Upsell offers can also be returned if requested.
Although the OfferPrice API is stateless, it is recommended (and assumed) that it will be called as part of the following sequence of Shop and Order APIs, unless you are using a third party Shopping (Availability and Pricing) engine.

Iberia offers two methods of the OfferPrice API:
Get Fare - for when you have used our AirShopping API and have obtained an OfferID and Fare details.
Get Direct Fare - when you have used a third party Shopping engine and know the specific flights you require. As a result, we return various Offers with all the available Fare Products for the requested flights.
Time Limits - The offers include two time limits
Offer Expiration - This is the time by which the offer has expired and is no longer in our Offer Management System. Any OrderCreateRQ Message sent after this time will not generate an Order.
Payment - For offers that have instant purchase rules and less than four hours till departure, no PaymentTimeLimitDateTime value will be returned and full payment must be included in the OrderCreateRQ message. For offers that have instant purchase rules and more than four hours to departure flight, a PaymentTimeLimitDateTime will be returned giving a grace period of two hours to complete the payment process. For all other offers the PaymentTimeLimitDateTime value will reflect the rules of the fare/product.
Frequent Flyer information for any airline can be passed in this message, however only Iberia Plus will be validated if and when the members Iberia Plus number and exact matching name are included. If validated correctly, any applicable tier benefits will be applied. If validation fails, the shopping flow will continue and a warning will be included in the response.
Upsell - In the OfferPrice response it is possible to obtain Upsell offers higher than the requested Offer. This is only available when using the ‘Get Fare’ method:
When requested together with Cheapest, combined fares and the higher fares for Upselling are returned.
This option can also be combined with several functionalities/products, such as Private, Discounts, Special Needs, etc.
